Day of Action for Child Care

Coalition Partner, New Jersey Communities United, Led a Powerful Day of Action in Trenton.

TRENTON February 25, 2025 — Coalition partner New Jersey Communities United led a powerful Day of Action for Child Care in Trenton. In-home child care providers, child care center workers, parents, and advocates rallied at the State House to demand critical changes to New Jersey’s child care system, calling for better compensation for child care workers–living wages, healthcare, and retirement benefits. Participants also pushed for legislation to expand child care subsidies so more families can access quality care.
